Bishop Eddie Long Considered Suicide After Being ‘Condemned’

In an emotional video posted on YouTube entitled “The Power of God’s Love,” Bishop Eddie Long revealed that he once had a moment that almost led him to suicide. While he did not specify what situation led him to that moment, it has been speculated that it’s tied to the 2010 allegations that he preyed on several young men for sexual favors. Long said he was getting “condemned from the four corners of the Earth” and that he had a moment where he was ready to kill himself but the love he received from his family and his congregation helped save him.
