Le’Andria Johnson, pastor and founder of Imperfect People Changing Ministries in Atlanta is starring in the new reality series Preachers of Atlanta. There has been a lot of controversy and criticism surrounding Le’Andria’s very unconventional methods to introduce people to Christ. On the show, she is seen walking the streets of Atlanta handing out cigarettes and condoms and dressed in clothing to blend in with the prostitutes. Le’Andria believes this is the type of ministry that God has led her to have and she is very adamant about following God’s direction to lead her outreach ministry in this manner. She feels that her ministry allows her to reach people that other churches can’t. According to Christian Post, Johnson said Christians are arguing while satanists are increasing their churches and Christianity is declining. Instead of evangelizing, providing food, clothing and shelter, Johnson said her critics are focused on her use of profanity and choice to dress like a prostitute for her ministry.
