Pastor DeVon Franklin Defends Wife Meagan Good at Book Event

On Valentines Day, Pastor DeVon Franklin and Meagan Good joined Pastor Touré Roberts at One Church in LA to discuss love, faith, singlehood, and marriage promoting their newly released book, The Wait: A Powerful Practice for Finding the Love of Your Life and the Life You Love. During the Q&A session, a woman addressed Good’s sexy and revealing wardrobe choices as a woman of God and asked if she would “cover up”. Franklin immediately jumped in and responded in defense of his wife making it very clear that she could wear what she wants and redefining the actual purpose of the event. Meagan was moved to tears but later responded in love. This situation has sparked intense conversation within the Christian community about how women of God should dress and present themselves.
